Andrea “Jean” Rothrock, 68, of Wallaceton died Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at UPMC Altoona. Born July 1, 1945 in North Philipsburg, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Ruth Myers Gallaher.
Mrs. Rothrock was affiliated with the Protestant faith. She was a 1963 graduate of the Philipsburg High School. She was a life member of the Wallaceton Volunteer Fire Department and a member of the Clearfield Loyal Order of Moose Lodge No. 97.
She married Terry “Butch” Rothrock on Sept. 30, 1963 in Port Jervis, NY. He survives in Wallaceton.
Mrs. Rothrock is survived by one daughter, Wanda Rothrock and her companion, Richard Bloom of Wallaceton and one son, Terry D. “Tiger” Rothrock and his wife, Tricia of Wallaceton.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Angela Mull and her companion, Cory Perks of Osceola Mills and Brian Bloom of Wallaceton and two great-grandchildren, Haydee Bloom and Emma Perks.
She is also survived by three sisters, Kate Wilson of Philipsburg, Edie Coleman of Pittsburgh and Kim Litz of Clearfield and two brothers, Dan Gallaher of Philipsburg and Sam Gallaher of Wallaceton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Dennis Gallaher.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Strange & Weaver Funeral Home, Morrisdale, with the Rev. Stephen DeSantis officiating. Burial will be in the Stoneville Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
