Giant Santa Returns to Philipsburg

The giant Santa Claus in Philipsburg is not the original, but is actually the third version of this famous elf. It was recreated in 2005 and again this fall by a devoted group of volunteers. Money is still needed to help pay for a trailer to move it and a garage to store it. Donations can be sent to: Philipsburg Elks, 200 Country Club Lane, Philipsburg, PA 16866, with a notation that it is for the Santa Claus Fund. (Photo courtesy of Jay Harrington).
