Patricia C. McGee, 76, a guest of Ridgeview Elder Care and originally from New Millport, died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013 at the Clearfield Hospital. Born Nov. 24, 1936 in Belsena Mills, she was the daughter of William and Elsie (Swatsworth) Lockett.
She was a graduate of the Clearfield Hospital School of Nursing. She was employed at the Clearfield Hospital for 37 years as a registered nurse. She was a member of the Clearfield Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Association.
She attended the Oak Ridge Union Church.
On Aug. 26, 1961 at the Oak Ridge Union Church, she wed William McGee, who died Nov. 3, 2003. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Donald Lockett and a sister, Charlotte Clutter.
She is survived by two sons, Brian McGee and his wife, Becky of Clearfield and Loren McGee and his fiancée, Lisa of Altoona; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild and four brothers and sisters, Clifford Lockett and his wife, Connie of Madera, Lynda Hutton, Kevin Lockett and his wife, Patty, all of Erhard and Rick Lockett of New Millport.
Funeral services for Mrs. McGee will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home Inc. of Curwensville with the Rev. Charles M. Lee Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Fruit Hill Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 11 a.m. until the time of services Thursday at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
