CLEARFIELD – Are you looking for the perfect gift for someone who has everything?
The Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging Inc. has a gift perfect for those who are hard to buy and one that helps out elderly in Clearfield County — a new and improved 2007 Lottery Calendar.
For $25 per calendar, the CCAAA gives you have 365 chances to win a cash prize with one chance for each day of the year. The calendar also comes with color photographs from around Clearfield County.
Each calendar has a three-digit number on it and this number is good for every day of 2007. If your calendar number is the same number drawn in the first three-digit Pennsylvania Daily Lottery drawing at 7 p.m., you would be a winner! Cash prizes are awarded each day according to the amount listed on the calendar for that date.
The CCAAA said the good news is that the winner doesn’t have to do anything to redeem his or her prize. It will be mailed to the following week.
The calendar also includes important information about services available through the Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging Inc. and the location and telephone number for each senior community center.
This calendar is the main fundraiser of the Clearfield County senior community centers. Money from the sale of the calendars is used to provide local support for the maintenance and operation of the senior community centers.
People over the age of 60 attend and visit the senior community centers to receive valuable information and listen to various educational and health promotion programs, to access several health screenings and flu shot clinics, to participate in socialization, recreational and fitness activities, as well as receive a warm, nutritious meal on a donation basis.

Centers participating in the calendar sale are located in Clearfield, Coalport, DuBois, Karthaus, Kylertown and Mahaffey.
