CLEARFIELD – According to the Clearfield County Prison Board, it’s a common occurrence but one of which they want the public to be aware.
An inmate at the Clearfield County Jail has filed a lawsuit in federal courts alleging that his civil rights have been violated.
Lamont Marshall was one of 48 people arrested in a two-day drug sweep of the DuBois area in June.
The board did not release details of the case, only saying that the suit dealt with the alleged civil rights violation.
“He’s looking at a pretty good state sentence on the drug charges,” said Clearfield County President Judge Fredric J. Ammerman.
