Mary Lucille Inlow, 86, of Clearfield, entered into God’s eternal care, Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield. She was the wife of 60 years to the late John R. Inlow Sr., who died May 15, 2008.
Born Oct. 22, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Burtis and Ivy (Noden) Lansberry. Mrs. Inlow attended the West Side Methodist Church, Clearfield.
She was employed as an operating room tech at the Clearfield Hospital for more than 40 years until her retirement. She enjoyed art, sewing, reading, doll making, quilting, embroidery, cooking, gardening, canning and spending time with her kids.
Surviving are seven children, Doris J. Williams and her husband, Morgan of East Canton, OH; Charles D. Inlow and his wife, Maurene, John R. Inlow Jr. and his wife, Arnoldine, Mary E. “Cookie” Miller and her husband, Jerry and LeAnna M. Inlow and Dana L. Wilson and her companion, Bob Moore, all of Clearfield; and Shawn K. Inlow and his wife, Rebecca of Osceola Mills.
Also surviving are 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two nieces, Nancy Rosman, whom Mrs. Inlow mentored in her mother’s absence and her husband, Bob of Sykesville; four nephews; a sister, Betty Nelson and her husband, Kenneth of Clearfield; and a sister-in-law, Shirley L. (Nelson) Lansberry of Clearfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother, Dorwyn “Darby” Lansberry.
A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Inlow will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Bennett & Houser Funeral Home Inc., 312 E. Locust St., Clearfield, PA 16830, with the Rev. Dr. Joleen A. Willis officiating. A time to share memories with the family will be held from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until the time of services Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Clearfield.
