RIDGWAY – The North Central Pennsylvania Regional Planning and Development Commission APEX Accelerator is co-sponsoring a webinar that will focus on PA COSTARS, the state’s government procurement program.
COSTARS 101, which is being presented by PA APEX Accelerators and the state’s Department of General Services, will focus on government contracting, government industrial base readiness, prime vendor program, selling to government and subcontracting.
The free webinar is scheduled from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11.
PA COSTARS is the commonwealth’s cooperative purchasing program, and the event will be an informative general session on the state-level procurement program. Those in attendance will gain an understanding of the benefits of becoming a COSTARS supplier and how it can enhance a small government contracting business.
Speakers for the event will be from PA APEX Accelerators and PA COSTARS. Joining North Central APEX Accelerator in co-sponsoring the event are COSTARS, Northwest Commission APEX Accelerator, SAP&DC APEX Accelerator, NT APEX Accelerator, PennWest California GACO APEX Accelerator, NEPA Alliance APEX Accelerator, SEDACOG APEX Accelerator and Southeast Pennsylvania APEX Accelerator.
The APEX Accelerator receives funding in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Department of Defense.
