Scouts Participate in Flag Burning Ceremony

CURWENSVILLE – Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 842 and American Legion Post 505, both of Curwensville, recently hosted an American Flag retirement and disposal ceremony conducted by members of Boy Scout Troop 9 of Clearfield. The ceremony began with the salute to the flag and an explanation of the flag-burning ceremony.
