RIDGWAY – The Ridgway Heritage Council is pleased to announce that one of the most spectacular homes in Ridgway will be included in the group’s “Mansions and Mayhem” tour on Oct. 13.

The Robertson House, currently owned by Norbert Pontzer, underwent a fabulous restoration by previous owners David and Dawn Jardini, showcasing some of the best Hyde-Murphy woodwork in town.

Tour proceeds support the council’s mission of preserving Ridgway’s heritage and encouraging economic investments in the town’s beautiful National Register Historic District.

“You really don’t want to miss this one”, shared the council’s founding board member, Dale Fox.

“I will never forget the two-week volunteer effort made by dozens of volunteers to empty the home of decades of detritus by throwing everything out the second- and third-story windows into dumpsters below.

“The Jardini family then completed an unbelievable transformation to bring the home back to its original state of beauty. This house alone makes it worth joining the tour”.

Tickets are $20 per person. For more information and available tour times, visit the Ridgway Welcome Center at the corner of Main Street and Route 219, or call 814-776-1424.
