SANDY TOWNSHIP – A Sandy Township fire has been ruled as incendiary in nature.

According to Ridgway-based state police, the fire occurred at an abandoned mobile home at 11:50 p.m. Tuesday at 27 Phillips Rd.

It was investigated by the Sandy Township police and fire departments and a Pennsylvania State Police fire marshal unit.

The structure was a complete loss, and there weren’t any injuries reported as a result of the fire, state police say.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the fire marshal unit at 814-776-6136 or the Sandy Township police.
