Obituary Notice: Coleen M. Dixon

Coleen M. Dixon, 45, of Munson died Sunday, June 5, 2016. Born Sept. 20, 1970 in Philipsburg, she was the daughter of the late James Cantolina, who died Aug. 3, 2011, and Dorothy Domblisky Cantolina of Munson.

Mrs. Dixon worked for Penn State Hershey. She was a 1988 graduate of the Philipsburg-Osceola Mills High School.

She was a 2006 graduate of CLN as a medical assistant. She also graduated from the vo-tech in culinary.

She enjoyed having time with her family, spending time outdoors, gardening and all-terrain vehicle riding.

She was married to Scott S. Dixon on Oct. 3, 1994. He survives in Munson. She is also survived by a daughter, Jennifer Dixon of Munson.

Mrs. Dixon is also survived by a sister, Joni Croyle and her husband, Robert of Philipsburg; a brother, James J. Cantolina and his wife, Joann of Philipsburg; and her father- and mother-in-law, Harvey and Geraldine Dixon of Munson.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a son, Daniel S. Dixon on Dec. 9, 2001; her maternal grandparents, John and Jennie Domblisky; and her paternal grandparents, John and Mary Cantolina.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Strange & Weaver Funeral Home, Morrisdale, with Pastor Ed Tucker officiating. Burial will be in the Allport Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
