TYRONE – The Clearfield County Fair Queen Court & Committee host various fundraisers throughout the year to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network and local causes.

On June 5 at the CMN Telethon held at DelGrosso’s Amusement Park, Queen Abby Jamison and her court, Lyndsey Good, Emily Androlinis and Cassie Folmar presented a check for $5,000. Court member Rachel Duke was unable to attend.

The Fair Queen Committee & Court are thankful to all the businesses who have donated/sponsored their events, the community for supporting their efforts, the Clearfield Fair & Park Board for supporting the program and to all the volunteers who have helped make each event a success.

The next fundraising event is the Royal 5K Run/Walk and Car/Bike Show on Sunday, June 12 at the Clearfield Fairgrounds.

Information on this event and events held throughout the year can be found on the Clearfield County Fair Queen for a Cause Facebook page.

Applications to compete in the 2016 Queen Contest are now being accepted. Information on the contest can be found at www.clearfieldcountyfair.com.
