Edna J. “Bub” (Hayward) Chenchark, 87, died Sunday, June 5, 2016 in Ridgeview Elder Care & Rehabilitation, Curwensville.
Born April 2, 1929 in Parsonville, she was the daughter of the late John and Frances (Kephart) Hayward.
She was a member of Faith United Lutheran Church in Houtzdale.
She is survived by her daughter, Shelby Socie and her husband, William of Houtzdale; her granddaughters, Michelle Graham and her husband, Tyler of Beccaria and Kelly Johnson and her fiancé, Adam Anderson of Houtzdale; and one brother, Clair Hayward of Greensburg.
She is also survived by four great-grandchildren, Devin Johnson, Riley Chase, MaKenna Chase and Amber Graham.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas A. Chenchark; a son, Gary Chenchark; her sister, Faye and brothers, Ray, Chester, and Wallace.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Tuesday and again from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Kruise-Spewock Funeral & Cremation Services Inc., Ramey.
Burial will follow in Brisbin I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Brisbin.
