Grace E. Webster, 80 of Clearfield and formerly of Philipsburg, died Sunday, Dec. 29, 2013 at the DuBois Regional Medical Center in DuBois.
She was the daughter of the late Lamual and Margaret Ann (Jones) Myers, born Feb. 5, 1933 in Osceola Mills. She married William J. Webster Sr. on Dec. 8, 1947 in Osceola Mills. He preceded her in death on Nov. 15, 1989.
Mrs. Webster was of the Christian faith and a homemaker.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Claire Ann Ibberson and a brother, George Myers.
Mrs. Webster is survived by four daughters, Del Marie Webster and her husband, Henry of Philipsburg, Edith Winter and her husband, Milton of West Decatur, Loretta Knepp and her husband, Duane of Morrisdale and Cynthia Knepp and her husband, Paul of State College and four sons, William John Webster Jr. and his companion, Patty of Morrisdale, Earl T. Webster and his wife, Theresa of Philipsburg, Robert D. Webster and his companion, Julie of West Decatur and Scott A. Webster and his wife Tina of Fredericksburg, VA.
Surviving are a sister, Mary Lou Socash of Houtzdale; a brother, the Rev Robert Myers and his wife, Gloria Myers of Carlisle; and a step-brother, Ronald Myers and his companion, Elsie of Osceola Mills. Also surviving are 26 grandchildren, Tracy, William II, Holly, Shawn, Keila, Henry Jr., Apryl, Michael, Carl, Chelsea, Benjamin, Emily, Destiny, Starr, Justin and Brandie Webster; Milton, Jr. and Joseph Winter; Kelly Morris; Sharon, Pamela, Carrie, Grace, Donna, Andrew and David Knepp; and 35 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Webster’s aunt, Letty Mason, who is 93 years old, also survives in Philipsburg.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills with Pastor Darl L. Ware officiating. Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service Friday at the Heath Funeral Home.
