An incident of theft and receiving stolen property occurred sometime between 12 a.m. Dec. 14, 2012 and 2 a.m. Dec. 18, 2012 at a Phoenix Road residence in Rush Township. A 19-year-old Philipsburg man allegedly stole jewelry from the residence while temporarily staying there. He was taken into custody and charged for the incident. He was arraigned and his bail has been set at $10,000. The man’s preliminary hearing will be scheduled in the near future.
