BIG RUN BOROUGH – A Big Run resident was arrested on a number of sexual-related crimes, according to Punxsutawney-based stated police.
Evans Steele, 41, is charged with 10 counts of statutory sexual assault, 10 counts of aggravated indecent assault, 10 counts of corruption of minors, and other related sex crimes.
According to the report, Steele had sexual relations with a 15-year-old girl between June 19 and Aug. 18.
Steele was arraigned at Magisterial District Judge Douglas Chambers’ office. Steele is being held in Jefferson County Jail in lieu of $75,000 straight bail.
