With more than 59 percent of the vote in across Pennsylvania, Gov. Edward G. Rendell and Bob Casey Jr. appear to be in the lead for their respective races.
As of 11:30 p.m., no results had yet been posted for Clearfield County, which has 71 precints worth of votes to count.
Across the state Rendell received 61 percent of the vote so far to Republican challenger Lynn Swann’s 39 percent. In the U.S. Senate race, Casey led Republican incumbent Rick Santorum 59.8 percent to 40.2 percent.
Still, about 40 percent of Pennsylvania’s vote had yet to be counted. Clearfield, but also in Chester, Huntingdon and Juniata had yet to report any results as of 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.
