WOODLAND – An annual open house celebration will be held, from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m., Dec. 9 at the Animal Welfare Council/Allegheny Spay & Neuter Clinic.
The event will feature door prizes, light refreshments and photo opportunities with Santa for your family and pets. The clinic will also be open for tours, including the renovated wellness wing.
The wing consists of three exam rooms, two surgery suites, a laboratory, kennel and grooming areas and a pet food pantry. Guests are encouraged to bring an item from the clinic’s Wish List.
Those who donate an item will receive an extra door prize ticket. Donations will benefit animals in need in Clearfield and surrounding counties.
The AWC/Allegheny Spay & Neuter Clinic thank those in the community for their continued support, which has helped spay and neuter over 44,788 animals.
The clinic is owned by the AWC, a non-profit organization formed in 2006 by a group of individuals who share concern and passion for animals in the community.
