Lawrence Township
- On Thursday police assisted Pennsylvania State Parole agents with a warrant service at Lawrence Park Village. According to police, Brandon Timko, 31, of Clearfield was wanted by parole and taken into custody. Also, located in the apartment was Tyler Timko, 29, of Clearfield, who was allegedly in possession of Subutex and drug paraphernalia. He was wanted through the county’s Sheriff’s Department, taken into custody and turned over to the Probation Department. Tyler Timko was housed in county jail on the warrant and for the probation violation. Police say the apartment’s tenant, a 20-year-old Clearfield woman, was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Drug-related charges are currently pending against Tyler Timko and the woman.
Sandy Township
- On Wednesday police were contacted by a 28-year-old Punxsutawney man who reported that while he was waiting to pull out at the Falls Creek Sheetz, the vehicle in front of him drifted backwards and impacted his vehicle. Then, its driver left the scene. No damage or injuries were reported to police.
- Police reported a false alarm Wednesday at a Treasure Lake residence.
- Police received a report about someone trespassing in a shed Wednesday at a Hungry Hollow Road residence. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate anyone. There also wasn’t any damage or anything missing from the shed.
- Police responded to a reported motor vehicle crash on Thursday. According to police, a vehicle driven by a 57-year-old Treasure Lake man hit a stop sign that’s held by a concrete post. Minor injuries were reported, and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
- Police responded to a reported motor vehicle crash on Thursday. According to police, a vehicle driven by a 74-year-old Circle Road man pulled onto state Route 255 from Snappy’s Convenience Store and into the path of a vehicle driven by a 16-year-old Treasure Lake boy, causing the two to collide. No injuries and moderate damage were reported to police.
- On Thursday police were contacted by a 22-year-old Hanes Drive woman who reported that while she was away from her home, someone broke in and turned on the gas stove. This, she said, made her apartment fill with gas; she was able to turn it off and vent it. Police say there weren’t any witnesses, and the situation was handled without incident.
- On Thursday police were contacted by an Arby’s employee who reported that a known 50-year-old man was inside the restaurant and he’s made unwanted advances towards her in the past. Her story was confirmed by the manager who added that the man leaves anytime this employee isn’t there.
