DRIFTING – On May 21, Father David Perry blessed this little free library, located in the grotto at St. Severin Church in Drifting.
This library is for visitors to take books, read books and share materials about the Catholic faith. The library was the idea of Jackie Zimmerman, who approached fellow parishioners, Joe and Dorothy Fenush.
Joe and Dorothy built and painted the library and had help from another parishioner, Larry Hollis, on the metal roof. The library was then secured to a pedestal and put in place by parishioner, Steve Franek.
The grotto is located just off the parking lot at the church. The library is a great addition to this spiritual setting.
