State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about a burglary that occurred between May 11 and Tuesday at the Gas Generator Station, located off the Caledonia Pike, in Girard Township. According to state police, they gained entry by cutting the lock off the gate; then, they pried open a secure door on the soft start building. While inside, they allegedly stole a utility trailer tire before entering two other unsecured buildings and removing several water/gas pumps, an air compressor and several tools. Afterward they started a Bombardier all-terrain vehicle, fleeing the scene with the ATV and other items. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 814-857-3800.
State police at DuBois
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment and criminal mischief that occurred May 10 at a Burton Aly residence in Reynoldsville Borough. During the incident, a 51-year-old Reynoldsville man engaged in a verbal argument with Victim 1. As a result, he allegedly punched through his screen door and struck Victim 2. Charges were filed through the district court.

- State police received a report about a theft that occurred between April 15 and April 17 on Deer Run Road in Bell Township. - State police received a report about a burglary that occurred April 30 on Route 119 in Punxsutawney. During the incident, someone allegedly forcibly entered the victim’s residence. - State police received a report about a burglary that occurred Tuesday on West Main Street in Big Run Borough. During the incident, someone gained entry to the victim’s residence by forcing open the front door. Once inside, they allegedly removed a number of prescription narcotics from a pill bottle. State police at Ridgway
- State police received a report about animal cruelty that occurred Monday on Brandy Camp Circle in Horton Township. During the incident, someone allegedly put a dead cat in a nearby creek. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 814-776-6136.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about a theft that occurred sometime Monday night or Tuesday on South Second Street. During the incident, someone allegedly removed a license plate from a vehicle while it was parked in a lot. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
- Police conducted a vehicle stop during the early-morning hours Wednesday in the area of the Family Dollar Store. Officers also located a suspicious vehicle in the same area. When contact was made with the male driver, it was found that he was allegedly in possession of a stolen registration plate and various controlled substances. Police say a female passenger was in possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges are to be filed against both. While police were at the scene, an intoxicated male – across the street – was reportedly interfering with the investigation, and he was taken into custody for public intoxication. He was housed in county jail on a 48-hour detainer and cited for the incident. Police indicated that the driver of the vehicle in the original stop was identified as Jessica Read, and she had an active warrant. Read was housed in county jail on that warrant and she was cited for driving under suspension and other violations.
- Police conducted a warrant service Tuesday at the Sheetz store on Route 879 after receiving a report about a suspicious person. When contact was made, police learned the female, identified as Jessica Shomo, had an active warrant through the Clearfield County Sheriff’s Office. She was taken into custody and housed in county jail.
