LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP – A burn ban, issued two weeks ago, has been lifted in Lawrence Township.
“… Conditions have improved significantly,” said Supervisor Jeremy Ruffner via e-mail correspondence, “so the ban has been lifted.”
However, he said officials are still requesting that the residents “use common sense” when burning and refrain from doing so when conditions are dry.
Ruffner also noted that “nuisance burning” will be investigated by code enforcement.
