State police at Clearfield
- State police investigated a DUI incident Saturday on Union Street in Gulich Township. During a traffic stop, state police determined a male had allegedly driven a vehicle after consuming a controlled substance. State police said he was also in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. Charges are currently pending at this time.
State police at DuBois
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred Friday on Route 219 in Washington Township. During the incident, a 21-year-old Bradford man allegedly punched the driver’s side window of the victim’s vehicle with a closed fist during a road rage incident. His actions caused the window to break.
State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of corruption of minors on March 29 on Ernestville Road in Rush Township. It remains under investigation at this time.
- State police received a report about an incident of theft by deception that occurred between March 30, 2016 and March 30 on Martin Street in Rush Township. It involved an alleged scam in which money was sent to South Africa.
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred April 3 on South Smith Street in Port Matilda Borough. During the incident, a 52-year-old Port Matilda man allegedly pushed the victim in the chest during a verbal argument.
State police at Punxsutawney
- State police received a report about an incident of aggravated indecent assault that occurred Saturday on Ridge Road in Burnside Township. During the incident, an 18-year-old Grampian man allegedly subjected the victim to unwanted physical contact. It remains under investigation at this time.
Clearfield Borough
- Police received a report about a male who was allegedly acting disorderly at a local business. Upon arrival, police interviewed witnesses and charges were filed against the male.
- Police reported that a stray dog was located along Turnpike Avenue. It was transported to the Clearfield County SPCA.
- Police responded to a 911 hang-up call on East Pine Street. Upon arrival, police found that a child was playing with the phone.
- Lawrence Township police were assisted with an incident along Legion Road.
- A female was arrested by police for DUI after she was stopped along Weaver and Nichols streets for a traffic violation.
- A female was found to have active arrest warrants through Lawrence Township police during a traffic stop. As a result, township police arrived and addressed the warrants.
- Police encountered a disabled vehicle along South Front Street. Police assisted and remained at the scene until the vehicle was towed.
- Lawrence Township police were assisted with a disorderly male along Airport Road.
- Police arrested a male along Weaver Street after he was found to have an active warrant through the Clearfield County Sheriff’s Office. He was transported to the jail.
- Police received a report about a vehicle that was struck while parked in a lot along West Front Street. According to police, the driver fled the scene.
- A male was arrested for public drunkenness and drug-related charges after an alleged incident along West Front Street. He was taken to the Clearfield County Jail.
- Police were dispatched for a report about individuals smoking illegal substances outside a residence on South Second Street. Upon arrival, police located illegal substances. Charges are currently pending at this time.
- Police assisted a motorist who had locked their keys inside their vehicle along East Market Street.
- Police received a report about an alleged case of animal cruelty that occurred in East End. According to police, a cat was thrown into an above-ground swimming pool, which caused it to drown; the owner located the cat inside the pool.
- Police responded to a trespassing complaint on West Front Street. Police were told that someone was inside a residence and not permitted to be there. When police searched the residence, there wasn’t anyone found inside.
- Police responded to Bridge Street where kids were reportedly causing a traffic hazard. However, they were gone upon police arrival to the scene.
- Police responded to a verbal altercation on North Fifth Street. Upon arrival, police found one male who was involved had an active arrest warrant through Domestic Relations. He was taken into custody and to the jail.
- Police arrested a female on a sheriff’s warrant along Daisy Street. She was transported to the jail on the warrant.
- Police are investigating an alleged theft of a purse from a West Pine Street residence.
Lawrence Township
- Police received an animal call on Flegal Road where a dog was running around in the area.
- Police received a report about a suspicious male on Fire Tower Road. However, he was gone upon police arrival in the area.
- Police received several reports about incidents of disorderly conduct that occurred at the Clearfield Area Junior-Senior High School.
- Police were requested to check the welfare of a person at a Valley View Drive residence.
- Police assisted emergency personnel with an unresponsive patient on South Second Street.
- Police received a report about a domestic dispute on Capitol Hill Road.
- Police received a report about a fight at the Clearfield Area Junior-Senior High School.
- Police conducted a traffic stop along Route 879. As a result, police found a person had a warrant; they were taken into custody and put in county jail.
- Clearfield Borough police were assisted with a warrant service.
- Police received a report about a disorderly male at Sheetz. He was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence. Charges are currently pending at this time.
- Police received a report about a civil property dispute in Edgewood.
- Police received a report about a domestic dispute on Legion Road.
- Police assisted motorists in a disabled vehicle on the Rockton Mountain Highway.
- Police were requested to check the welfare of a person on Haversack Lane.
- Police conducted a traffic stop on Supercenter Drive. Charges are currently pending for DUI and drug possession as a result.
- Police received a report about an activated alarm at a local business on Plaza Drive.
- Clearfield Borough police were assisted with a warrant service on a known female. She was served with six warrants through this department.
- Police received a report about an incident of road rage on South Second Street.
- Police received a report about a drug violation on Calvary Road. However, police checked the area with negative contact.
- Police received a report about a male who was allegedly being disorderly in the area of Airport Road. Charges of disorderly conduct and criminal mischief are currently pending.
- Police conducted a traffic stop along Airport Road. DUI charges are currently pending at this time.
