CLEARFIELD – A pair of St. Francis School first-grade students celebrated their birthdays together on April 8.
The girls asked their classmates and friends to bring a donation for Brody Lanich instead of birthday gifts for them.
The girls raised $308 for the Lanich family. Brody is a Kindergarten student at St. Francis, and he was diagnosed with Leukemia this past fall.
His mother, Kristen Lanich, is the Kindergarten teacher at the St. Francis School.
After their party, the girls said they felt proud of themselves for helping Brody. Their party was at the Ritz Theater in Clearfield.
