WINSLOW TOWNSHIP – State police in DuBois reported an accident on Sunday that claimed the life of a DuBois man.
According to police Gary L. Gelnett, 48, was traveling east on US Route 322 at 8:35 p.m. He was exiting a left curve when he lost control of his 1999 Chevrolet Tracker. He crossed the left lane and went off the north berm where he stuck a sign post and utility pole.
The police report listed Gelnett as deceased, with no other information provided.
Police were assisted at the scene by the Reynoldsville Fire Department and Reynoldsville Emergency Medical Services.
