Isabelle Emily Renaud, 86 of Frenchville died on May 3, 2010 at Clearfield Hospital.
She was born on February 3, 1924 in Frenchville, a daughter of the late Frank and Cordelia (Verbeck) Plubell.
Mrs. Renaud was employed at Piper Aircraft, Quehanna.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Frenchville and the Frenchville Veterans of Foreign Wars Leigey Renaud Post #8386 Ladies Auxiliary.
Mrs. Renaud was a gifted seamstress and enjoyed gardening, having been known for her ‘green’ thumb. She was an accomplished baker and cook. She was very family oriented, always enjoying her grandchildren’s activities.
She is survived by three children:
Duane T. Renaud and wife Sonya
Coleen A. Luzier and husband Bradley Sr.
Carol L. Dixon and husband Robert all of Frenchville
Seven grandchildren:
Devan Renaud, Bridgette, Bradley Jr. and Christopher Luzier, Emilee, Hilaree and Braden Dixon
A great-grandson,
Joseph ‘Joey’ Luzier
And a sister:
Mildred English Morrisdale
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl J. Renaud on Aug. 1, 1995 and whom she married March 9, 1954 in Frenchville, an infant son Joseph C. Renaud, five brothers, Clyde, Henry, Robert, LeRoy and James and a sister June.
A Memorial Mass will be said at St. Mary Catholic Church, Frenchville on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. David A. Perry, Jr. as celebrant. Interment will follow in the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Frenchville.
Friends will be received at the church on Friday from 10-11:00 a.m.
