– Police reported an incident of theft/fraud and forgery that occurred sometime between Friday and Monday in Beccaria Township, Clearfield County. A person(s) used a 36-year-old Coalport woman’s PA EPPICard to withdraw $112.50 from an ATM machine in Coalport. They also used the victim’s bank card to make a $600 Internet purchase. In addition, the person(s) removed a 30-yar-old Coalport man’s unemployment check card and $160 from his wallet. They then made a $14 purchase with the unemployment check card in Altoona. The incident is still under investigation.
– Police reported an incident of assault/harassment at approximately 11 a.m. Tuesday at the West Branch School in Morris Township, Clearfield County. A Morrisdale juvenile male approached another Morrisdale male juvenile and called him derogatory name. The suspect also kicked him in the knee. The incident is still under investigation.
