HYDE — The Clearfield Area High School boys golf team stayed at .500 with a split in action Friday, beating Philipsburg-Osceola 364-395 while losing to Bellefonte 346-364 at the Clearfield-Curwensville Country Club.
Matt Duncan paced the Bisons, now 2-2, with an 87. Brandon Boyer and Mike Kritzer posted 91s and Mark Krchnak turned in a 95. Other scores were 96 for Adam Rowles and 111 by Ryan Gallaher.
Dean Woodring was low for P-O with an 84. Gray Slother was next with a 1-1, Tyler Dotts had a 102 and Nate Myers had a 108. The Mounties\’ other scores 109s by Tim Gray and Trever Straw.
Medalist for the day was Bellefonte\’s Denny Glunt with an 80. Brandon Martz carded an 86, Kyle Wellar an 88 and R.J. Losch a 92.
Clearfield travels to Brookville Monday for a 2:30 p.m. Allegheny Mountain League match.
