CURWENSVILLE — Mother Nature is not a fan of high school sports to start off spring. After delaying the Curwensville Golden Tide baseball season-opener this past Friday, the team was slated to travel to St. Marys Tuesday to play their first game of the year.
Snow and rain put an end to those plans. Plus, with their home field saturated as well from the weather, Wednesday’s home game against Elk County Catholic is also postponed.
Coach Tom Harzinski and his team hope to finally get the 2015 season under way next Monday, April 6, when they host the Harmony Owls.
