Police are investigating an incident of criminal mischief at the Clearfield Community Pool; sometime Thursday night, a suspect(s) entered the pool area and caused damage.
A phone scam was reported to police, and the victim lost a substantial amount of money. Police would like to remind residents to use caution when providing information over the phone. Residents should also be cautious when asked to send money to an unknown person or location.

Police stopped a male for public intoxication and urinating on the sidewalk. The male then pushed away from police and attempted to flee on foot. He was apprehended a short distance away. He was transported to the Clearfield County Jail.
