Marilyn D. Weber, 78, of Grampian entered her eternal rest Sunday, July 7, 2013 at the DuBois Regional Medical Center.
She was born April 28, 1935 in DuBois, the daughter of Richard M. and Helen (Davis) Stoke.
She devoted her life to making a home for her family, raising her children and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Weber had a strong faith that touched many lives. She was a member of Curwensville Christian Church, where she served faithfully for many years as organist and pianist.
She was a long-time member of the Chat-N-Sew Quilters group, holding various offices over the years. Her beautiful quilts brought warmth to many lives.
She’s survived by her husband of 57 years, Wallace G. Weber, whom she married July 6, 1956; five children, Christa Kerr and her husband, Dave of DuBois, Karen
Renfro and her husband, Samuel of Williamsburg, KS., Barbara Veydt and her husband D. Eric of Cecil, Brenda Weber of Grampian and Timothy Weber and his wife, Deborah of Earlysville, VA., 17 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Curwensville Christian Church, with the Rev. George Cannon and the Rev. Samuel Renfro co-officiating. Burial will be at Chestnut Grove Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home Inc. of Clearfield and from 10 a.m. until the hour of services Thursday at the church.
