Charlotte J. Hein, 87, of DuBois died Sunday, July 7, 2013 at her residence. Born March 15, 1926, she was the daughter of the late George and Bertha (Lines) Kriner.
In 1946, she married Gordon C. Hein. He preceded her in death on Sept. 2, 2002.
She was a secretary for P.J. Reilly at Cooper Tire for more than 25 years.
She attended St. Peter’s United Church of Christ and enjoyed volunteering at the Soup to Nuts Dinner and the Clothes Closet at the First United Methodist Church in DuBois.
She’s survived by two daughters, Patty Richardson of DuBois and Nancy Roberts and her husband, Bill of Corinth, TX; a brother, Dean Kriner of DuBois; two sisters, Joan Delaney and her husband, Jack of DuBois, and Doris Shannon and her husband, Bob of Georgia; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Ashley L. Richardson; three brothers; and three sisters.
There will be no public visitation.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Newell officiating.
Burial will be in St. Luke’s United Church of Christ Cemetery.
