Jack L. Daub Sr., 75, of Clearfield died Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the DuBois Regional Medical Center. He was born March 10, 1938 in Kerrmoor, a son of the late Clifford C. and Cora (Dimmick) Daub.
Mr. Daub was a truck driver for various businesses. He was also an avid outdoorsman, enjoying camping, fishing and hunting as well as many other activities. Mr. Daub was veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Mary (Proud) Daub, whom he wed June 23, 1984 in Clearfield; nine children, Jack Lee Daub Jr., James Charles Daub, Clark William Daub Sr., Elizabeth Newman, Robert Daub Sr., Thomas Daub, Sherry Daub, Christine McCurdy and Robert Sloppy; 19 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Shirley Ann Williams, Geraldine Ruth Eckman and Kim Coulter; six brothers, William Charles, Ronald Glenn, James Edward, Ray, Roy and Gerald Daub; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family at the Kevin A Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield.
There will be no public visitation or services.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to American Diabetes Association, 300 Penn Center Blvd., Suite 602, Pittsburgh, PA or to the American Heart Association, 501 Howard Ave., Suite D, Altoona, PA 16601.
