CLEARFIELD – Northwest Savings Bank recently presented a $1,500 contribution to the Clearfield Revitalization Corp., (CRC). Northwest Savings Bank Commercial Lending Officer, Joseph Kelly and Senior Vice President and Central West District Manager Gigi Gearhart presented the contribution for 2013 to Main Street Manager Kellie Swales.
Northwest Savings Bank is a founding contributor to the CRC, as they have pledged a total of $7,500 over five years. Back in 2009, in order for Clearfield to become a Main Street community, this contribution was a necessary match as part of the designation process. The current-year marks the CRC’s fifth year in existence.
Swales said, “The CRC thanks Northwest Savings Bank for fulfilling their original financial commitment and supporting the CRC over the past five years. They have contributed a total of $7,500 and have sponsored many of our events as well.
“I’d like to recognize and thank Joe Kelly from Northwest Savings Bank for his dedication and leadership as a volunteer within the CRC.”
Swales said Kelly has previously volunteered on the Promotion and Economic Restructuring committees. This year, she said he’s the chairman of the CRC’s Organization and Finance committees. In addition, she said Kelly serves as an executive officer and treasurer.
“We are extremely grateful and appreciative of his passion and belief of our program, and his desire to lead and guide the CRC in a forward, positive direction. We sincerely thank Joe Kelly and Northwest Savings Bank for their commitment and support of the CRC and our community.”
