DuBois Chamber, VFW Gather for Mixer Event

DUBOIS – The Greater DuBois Chamber of Commerce and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 813 recently gathered for a mixer event.

On Nov. 13, guests had the pleasure of gathering at the beautifully-renovated VFW Event Center, and it was the perfect setting for the mixer event.

With fresh paint, a quality sound system, added outlets and a non-smoking policy, the VFW Event Center comfortably accommodates up to 250 guests and provides a versatile space for any occasion.

Throughout the night, guests enjoyed a vibrant atmosphere with a fantastic catering selection and refreshments from the VFW bar. It was a perfect blend of networking, laughter and community spirit.

The VFW also offers its event space for holiday parties, baby showers, bridal showers and more.

To inquire about rentals, reach out to the VFW at 814-371-4124 or visit at 114 Fuller Ave., in DuBois.

The VFW does so much for its local community from scholarships like the Voice of Democracy for high schoolers and the Patriots Pen for middle schoolers to holiday events like Toys for Tots and Ladies’ Night Out (tickets are on sale now).

The VFW is currently accepting new members, so if you’re interested, check your eligibility at https://www.vfw.org/join.

A huge thank you is being extended to the VFW team for hosting and to all who joined for this memorable evening to help make the DuBois community stronger.
