The Mosquito Creek Sportsmen’s Association will host a youth spring gobbler hunting contest on Saturday, April 27.
The contest is open to all qualified PA junior hunters with required license and all mentored youth ages 7 to 16.
Birds will be judged by weight, beard length and spurs. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 gobblers.
Birds must be brought into the club between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to be judged. No birds will be judged after this date or time.
All PA Game Laws must be followed and all must have a 2024 club membership to participate.
In the event of a tie, names will be put into a hat to draw the winner.
