CLEARFIELD – A Hyde man is behind bars on multiple felony drug charges.
John Raymond Jefferson II, 38, is charged by Clearfield Regional police with felony delivery of a controlled substance (three counts), misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance (three counts) and misdemeanor use/possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to a department-issued news release, officers were requested to assist Pennsylvania State Parole at approximately 2:21 p.m. Jan. 29 at Jefferson’s Hyde residence.
Upon further investigation and search of his residence, police allegedly seized one pound of crystal methamphetamine, one pound of marijuana, 304 ecstasy pills and numerous items of drug paraphernalia.
Jefferson was housed in Clearfield County Jail on a parole detainer. Bail is set at $100,000. He’s scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing Wednesday, Feb. 7 during centralized court.
