REYNOLDSVILLE – The Jeff Tech January Student of the Month is Mackenzie Greene, who is a junior in the Culinary Arts Program.
At Jeff Tech, Mackenzie is vice president of the Culinary Shop. She is also a three-year member of CTSO (Career Technical Student Organization) and the current vice president as well as a two-year member of Art club and the current secretary.
She’s on the Dance committee. Mackenzie has represented Jeff Tech as a competitor in the annual Dog Pound Challenge and at SkillsUSA in the baking and pastries competition.
She also plays softball and is co-captain of the cheerleading squad for her sending school, Punxsutawney Area High School. Her hobbies are reading, baking and doing arts and crafts.
She is employed at Leila Jo’s Café and Bakery in Punxsutawney, and plans to attend IUP Culinary Arts. Her hope is to someday have her own bakery.
Mackenzie is the daughter of Ashley Greene and Brian Lower of Punxsutawney.
