CLEARFIELD – Youth Acting Classes with Clearfield Arts Studio Theatre Inc. Artistic Director Gayle Gearhart will start Saturday, Jan. 20.

Classes will be 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. for second though sixth grades and 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. for seventh through 12th grades. The classes will run for eight weeks.

Each class will have short warm-ups and then  dive right in to scene work in pairs and small groups in each class.

Students will focus on light-hearted comedy from Shakespeare, Moliere and Chekhov in the junior/senior high classes and creative whimsical fairy tales and fables in younger classes.

Cost is $50 for the eight classes. Checks should be made out to Gayle Gearhart. Registration can be done at the first class. New students are always welcome.
