HARRISBURG – Residents of the 73rd Legislative District are invited to attend a free concealed carry seminar hosted by state Rep. Dallas Kephart (R-Clearfield/Cambria) on Thursday, Oct. 19.
“These seminars are great for anyone considering obtaining their concealed carry permit, as well as existing permit holders who need to brush up on any changes to gun laws,” Kephart said.
“Our speakers will address not only how to obtain a permit, but also actions that would result in your permit being revoked.”
The seminar will take place from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. in the Bigler Township Building, 2861 Main St., Madera.
Presentations by Clearfield County Sherriff Mike Churner and a representative from Firearms Owners Against Crime on a wide variety of firearms safety and Second Amendment subjects will be followed by a question-and-answer session.
For planning purposes, anyone interested in attending the seminar should contact Kephart’s Clearfield district office at 814-765-0609.
