CLEARFIELD – A Philipsburg man is facing DUI and drug possession charges following an incident June 20.
According to Clearfield Regional police, around 8:35 p.m. June 20, 48-year-old Samuel Patinka of Philipsburg passed out on his motorcycle along the Clearfield – Curwensville Highway.
Upon contact with Patinka, officers suspected he was under the influence of a controlled substance, which was confirmed through further investigation.
A search of his belongings allegedly turned up a controlled substance and numerous items of paraphernalia, and charges were filed following lab analysis.
Patinka was charged with DUI, possession of a controlled substance, use/possession of drug paraphernalia and related traffic offenses.
