PSP Clearfield
State police are investigating a theft from a Hannah St. residence in Woodward Twp. The victim reported he had left his Motorola Z4 cell phone on his front porch and went to visit family across the street. When he returned his cell phone was gone.
State police investigated a report of an assault that occurred in Morris Twp. The 43 year old male victim reported that he and his girlfriend were involved in a verbal argument when his 38 year old girlfriend slapped him in the face with an open hand. She then fled the residence prior to police arrival. Police later contacted the girlfriend who admitted to the victim’s statements and reported that she fled the residence to avoid further issues. She noted that she was not assaulted by the victim. Charges for assault harassment to be filed.
State police are investigating an incident of theft from a vehicle parked in a field near Witmer Rd. in Beccaria Twp. Unknown person(s) removed a catalytic converter valued at $400.00 from a 2006 Jeep. Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Clearfield.
State police conducted a traffic stop on Nichols St. in Clearfield Borough on a 2006 BMW. The operator was found to be under the influence of alcohol and a controlled substance. Charges are pending.
