Clearfield Borough
- Police received multiple reports regarding a phone scam that’s occurred in the area. According to police, the caller posed as a bank employee and claimed residents’ accounts had been frozen. Then, they attempted to obtain personal information from them. Police would like to remind residents not to provide any information by phone to unverified sources.
- Police received a report about an unresponsive male inside a running vehicle on South Fourth Street. Police located the male and safely assisted him from the vehicle. He was reportedly intoxicated and taken into custody.
- Police received a report about a disturbance on East Cherry Street. Upon arrival, officers deescalated the situation and separated those involved.
- Police received a report about a disturbance on East Walnut Street. Upon arrival, officers located those involved and allegedly discovered multiple items of drug paraphernalia.
- Police responded to a minor motor vehicle accident on North Fourth Street. Police say a driver struck another vehicle, as they backed into a parking space.
- Police assisted emergency personnel with entry into a Clearfield Street residence.
- Police received a report about a suspicious female on East Market Street. According to police, she was observed knocking on doors and attempting to enter a vehicle. Upon arrival, officers located the female on the rear fire escape of a building. She was reportedly heavily intoxicated and transported to the hospital.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about a burglary Feb. 28 at Krebs Self-Storage LLC, Clearfield. During the incident, someone allegedly broke into multiple storage units, cutting off the locks and removing items. The investigation is ongoing at this time, and anyone with information is asked to contact police.
