CLEARFIELD – Two people were displaced following an early-morning apartment fire Saturday in Clearfield, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal Cpl. Greg Agosti.
Agosti said the fire broke out at 4:40 a.m., at 304 Park Ave., and heavily damaged a two-story building that housed a ground-floor garage and upstairs apartments.
The fire originated in one of the apartments, he said, and the tenant was not at home at the time. The fire was ruled accidental in nature, and damage is estimated at over $250,000.
No injuries were reported.
