CLEARFIELD – A handful of Clearfield Area United Way volunteers recently heard from Captain Laurie Greenfield of The Salvation Army in Clearfield.
Greenfield discussed the current programs and services that are available to the community. The Salvation Army is among the United Way’s 23 local member agencies.
Member agencies are located throughout eastern, southern and central Clearfield County, and help people of all ages, according to CAUW Chief Professional Officer Nancy Pinto.
Donations are still needed toward the Clearfield Area United Way’s campaign goal of $210,000 for the upcoming-year. People can mail donations to 18 N. Second St., P.O. Box 1430, Clearfield.
