CLEARFIELD – “Retro Rockin for Reduction,” hosted by the Animal Welfare Council/Allegheny Spay & Neuter Clinic, will raise funds to help reduce animal overpopulation locally.

The fundraiser event will take place Saturday, Nov. 9 at the Expo I Building at the Clearfield County Fairgrounds. Tickets are $25 per person, and are available at the clinic, Waggin Trains of Clearfield and online.

Tickets will include light refreshments, beverages, dancing and live musical entertainment from 80’s band “Velveeta.”  You must be 21 years or older to attend.

The fundraiser event will kick off with Happy Hour at 5 p.m.; the band will play from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. There will also be chance auction items and 50/50 raffles.

All proceeds will benefit the Allegheny Spay & Neuter Clinic and help it reduce animal overpopulation in Clearfield and surrounding counties.

Since opening in 2009, it’s spayed and neutered more than 40,000 animals, which includes, dogs, cats and rabbits, according to information provided by the clinic.

For questions, more information or tickets, please contact the Allegheny Spay & Neuter Clinic by phone at 814-857-5280.
