State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment Monday in the area of State and Locust streets in Curwensville Borough. During a child custody exchange, a 53-year-old Houtzdale woman allegedly verbally threatened the victim by stating she should “never leave her house and if she does, she wouldn’t return breathing.” Charges are currently pending through the district court.
- State police received a report about a burglary Sunday on Cambria Street in Gulich Township. During the incident, someone allegedly forced entry into the victim’s home and removed $100 from a church envelope. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 814-857-3800.
- State police received a report about a camp burglary Saturday on Firebreak Road in Pine Township. During the incident, someone allegedly damaged a man door and removed a Champion generator valued at $800. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 814-857-3800.
- State police received a report about domestic violence Sunday on Main Street in Bradford Township. According to state police, Clearfield Penn Highlands Hospital staff had a patient with multiple bruises about her body. As a result, Ralph C. Best, 57, of Woodland was arrested for strangulation, simple assault and harassment and lodged in county jail; charges were filed through the district court.
- State police received a report about an incident of identity theft Monday on Bailor Drive in Pike Township. According to state police, an Olanta woman was contacted by an unknown male stating she owed $299.99 to the Microsoft Support Team. He then demanded she provide her personal information, which she briefly did. State police are urging people not to provide their personal information to unknown sources over the phone.
