  • Police received a report about a drug-related incident Thursday at the Clearfield County Jail. According to police, a 21-year-old Clearfield man, Trevor Anderson, was recently booked at the jail by probation. He was allegedly in possession of one plastic bag containing buprenorphine. Charges were filed through the district court.
  • Police received a report about a retail theft that occurred Thursday at the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Clearfield. During the incident, a male allegedly stole $37.04 worth of merchandise. He will be cited for the incident through the district court.
  • Police reported on a drug-related DUI that occurred July 12 in the parking lot of the Clearfield Mall. According to police, information was received about a suspicious person who appeared to be intoxicated in front of the Wines & Spirits store. Upon further investigation, it was found that the 39-year-old Clearfield man drove his vehicle to the mall while allegedly under the influence of a controlled substance. Police say he was also found in possession of multiple controlled substances. The man was transported to the hospital for a legal blood draw, then to county jail where he was lodged on a 48-hour detainer.
