State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about a theft that occurred Jan. 25, 2018 on Cataract Road in Karthaus Township. During the incident, a known person allegedly used the victim’s bank account without consent to make several withdrawals. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Monday on Company Row Road in Boggs Township. During an altercation, a 40-year-old West Decatur woman allegedly grabbed the victim by the arm and dragged her off a bed. Charges are currently pending through the district court.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about an incident of retail theft that occurred June 2 at the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Clearfield. During the incident, a 53-year-old Shawville woman entered the store and allegedly proceeded to under-ring several food items, then left without paying their full retail value.
- Police received a report about a hit-and-run that occurred Sunday along state Route 879. According to police, a dark-colored pick-up truck side-swiped a van while both were traveling westbound side-by-side. The van was in the lane for the U.S. Route 322 off-ramp when the pick-up’s bumper hit its rear fender area, causing minor body damage. The driver then continued traveling westbound. No injuries were reported to police.
