SANDY TOWNSHIP – The Sandy Township Police Department is investigating the death of a 30-year-old woman.
According to police, the woman – whose name isn’t being released at this time – was found deceased July 1 in a field, just off U.S. Route 322 in Sandy Township.
“Although the death is suspicious in nature, there is no immediate danger to the public,” police say. “The investigation is ongoing, and autopsy and toxicology results are pending.”
Police were assisted by the Clearfield County Coroner’s and District Attorney’s offices.
